The apartment was very ok, not particularly nice but habitable. To get to the old city center you had to go by car, I not recommend a taxi, it"s a little expensive. We went to several cities in Croatia, but Split is the place where I would go back. The beach is gorgeous, I have not paid any parking space near the beach, the evening in the center is gorgeous, the terraces and the pubs are open until late. So yes, in Split you have what it does. I recommend with confidence.
